  • Custom Product Showcases: Golden Rule wanted to highlight their wide range of products without turning their site into an e-commerce store. To meet this need, we developed a custom post type and taxonomies. These taxonomies allowed for specialized groupings across product types and brands, giving customers a clear, organized way to explore offerings without the complexity of an online shop.
  • Scalable Location Management: Serving multiple states meant managing a large volume of location-specific content. Instead of blending these into the general page structure, we created a custom post type dedicated to location pages. These were organized by city, service offerings, and metro areas, making it easy to expand as Golden Rule grows while keeping the content organized.
  • Team Profiles: With such a large team, mixing people profiles with general pages would have been overwhelming. We built a custom post type for team members and layered in taxonomies to sort staff by department and metro area. This not only streamlined backend management but also made it easier for customers to connect with the right local experts.
  • Coupon Management System: Golden Rule frequently runs promotions, so they needed an efficient way to generate and display coupons without duplicating effort. We developed a custom post type with taxonomies that allowed coupons to be managed centrally, then dynamically displayed in the right place across the site.
  • Reviews Integration: With over 8,600 reviews and thousands of calls serviced each month, social proof was critical. We implemented a real-time Trustindex feed that pulls Google reviews directly into the site. This integration allowed Golden Rule to showcase their reputation without sending visitors offsite, while maintaining control over styling to match their brand.
